Yep.I’am because this was the first manga i read a few years back in my own native language but since then i’ve lost the copies and i got nostalgic and looked for a english subbed copie of the manga and so i found out that a fan sub group was doing it right now and then i looked up the anime and i found it wasn’t subbed and that there weren’t any raws available free of charge,then i talked with a friend and we decided that we are going to buy the raws,because it’s a great loss for old school anime lovers out there that there aren’t any fan subs for these series.
Be-Bop High School is also a good choice currently because the Happyscans group is generating some interest in the series through their ongoing scanlations of the manga.

kornik15: probably not, but who knows what the future has in store? Having said that, we will not start any long projects as long as we haven’t completed both Ashita no Joe, Ashita no Joe 2, Miyuki, and Captain Tsubasa. God knows how long that will take, but I’m presuming more than a year.

Well, you obviously haven’t searched very hard because I remember Shinsen doing that back in the day, and even though they’re dead now, you’re bound to find their releases pretty easily if you look around.
Not sure about the 720p myth though – I’m not sure they did 720p for TV broadcasts back then, as I seem to remember a lot of “HD” releases around that period were upscales and not native HD. So unless it’s come out on Bluray (would’ve originally been released on DVD with 480p or 576p res), it’s unlikely that a 2006 series would have had a 720p release at all.

Ghost Hunt has been subbed and ripped in full in English by at least nine groups. 480 DVD-rips seems to be the highest resolution.
If you guys are interested, there’s a cute little kids anime called Tanoshii Moomin Ikka or Fun Moomin Family. It’s quite an old one (1990). Another group subbed it up to episode 19, but they’ve stopped since then and no one knows what they’re up to. Would you be willing to take on the task of subbing it and the sequel series? I’d love you forever if you did, because it really deserves the love.
