Hey, everyone!  AMS here with something massive for you!  Here is Hayao Miyazaki’s solo directorial debut that was an unaired pilot from 1972, Yuki’s Sun.  It is a short, approximately 5 minute long pilot for an anime adaptation of Chiba Tetsuya’s manga of the same name.  It played in Aeon Theaters last year in Japan (screening with The Wind Rises from December 26 to January 13) and was recently added as the first bonus disc in the recently released The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki blu-ray collection.

A great big thanks to everyone who helped get this out in a rather timely manner for us.  As an added bonus, we’ve included a Japanese language subtitle track in this one for those who are interested.  Here’s the staff role call for this one:

Hey, everyone!  AMS here again with some more Kuroko for you.  I know you probably thought ep23 was coming next because of the next episode preview at the end of 22, but on the Blu-Rays, this “Tip Off” OVA is next in the sequential order.  This OVA is a flashback to the Generation of Miracles’ days at Teiko Middle School and when Kise first joined their legendary basketball club.  It’s a pretty nice little piece of back story to set up their high school game against one another that starts the next episode. Enjoy!

Miyuki - 29

Yo.

So, here I thought there would be some peace after releasing daily for about a month with over 40 releases in total, including 3 of Miyuki. So sad I couldn’t make Fujiri happy… 😐 But enough of spoiled kids news, we’ve finally got some more Miyuki ready and are putting big efforts into trying to have this done sooner rather than later, as we finally got our hands on the first Yawara BD box! So get hyped and look forward to more judo goodness. =)
